      About This Website

"I think this web group you started is fantastic. Some of my set dancing friends from other parts have joined and it's a great way to remain connected." [Sue, September 2008]

Do you know about an event that other set dancers might be interested in? Let others know about it by listing it on the Events Calendar or simply by posting a comment or discussion on the forum - or write a blog post about it.

Although this social network website was started by Boston set dancers, it is open to everyone. Set dancers are known to travel great distances for special set dancing events. It's also nice to know about dancing available in other locations as we travel for our other purposes.

If you have a group and want to post information about it, this social networking website is a handy tool to get the word out.

Need help? Contact info@irishsetdancing.org for assistance (or "send a message" to Frank or Eileen (if you are a member).

A message to all members of Irish Set Dancing

Good news! We upgraded our home page to make it more interactive.

      What’s new?

      • You can now post status updates directly from the home page.
      • Comment and “Like” photos, videos, blogs, or status updates while on the home page.
      • Larger photo thumbnails!
      • Play videos directly on the home page.

It's now even easier to see what's going on and for everyone to participate. Have some fun with it!

Unfortunately, we are limited to 150 members on this Ning network, without incurring great monthly expense. We have started a companion website irishsetdancing.org -- it is our attempt to expand our group and what we can do with it. Check it out. Join the conversation!
